We are proud to announce our bookshop programme for the Festival in September. Tickets are now available from the shop and other outlets in Saltaire as well as the Festival website.

Sat 10th Sept. 2pm. Saltaire Bookshop. Helen Burke reads from her collection of poetry. Helen is a descendant of Saltaire poetry bard John Nicholson.

Tues 13th Sept. Colin Speakman launches his collection of walking poetry”Dune Fox and Other Poems”. 7pm Saltaire Bookshop

Thurs 15th Sept. Martyn Bedford discusses his new novel for teenagers, “Flip” 7pm Victoria Hall, Saltaire

Friday 16th Sept. Jazz Jenni Molloy’s Re-Loaded Trio. 8pm. Caroline St Social Club

The next two book groups are Monday August 22nd when we shall be talking about Tea Obreht’s “The Tiger’s Wife”. Meet 7pm at the shop

Monday Sept 26th. 7pm We shall be talking about Robert Graves’ “Goodbye to all that”. Copies of both now available at the shop
