A reminder that we have all the tickets for the Saltaire Festival in the shop. Ensure you’re not disappointed by buying tickets in advance. The shop is open 10-5 every day from Monday 5th Sept through to Sunday 18th Sept. If you are around other times and cant get in at those times knock on the door or ring us and if we can we’ll let you in for tickets or books!

Alex wakes up on the morning of 22nd December and finds himself in a strange bedroom in a strange house. The “mum” calling him to get up and go to school isnt his mum, and she is calling “Philip” not Alex. When he looks at the newspaper on the kitchen table the date on it is 23rd June and when he looks in the mirror it isnt Alex he sees but a stranger. This is the beginning of a startling new novel for teenagers by acclaimed writer Martyn Bedford. Stop Press. A new addition to the Saltaire Festival programme. Cassandra Clark will be reading from and signing copies of her new medieval whodunnit “The Law of Angels”. Saturday 17th Sept 5.30pm at Saltaire Bookshop. Cassandra last visited the shop at the Festival three years ago and is very warmly welcomed for her return appearance. Please note tickets are available for all the Festival events at the shop which is currently open Mon-Sat 10-5.
